A black cat ran along the floorboards and stopped on the rug in the middle of the living room. Miley watched it as its yellow eyes stared right back at her, acting unlike any other feline she had ever come across before.

"Cat?" the youngest girl spoke.

"Oh, I've had it with this damn animal," Marie fumed, momentarily distracted from the feud between her and the other women. "That animal is going outside for good!"

Before she had a chance to reach the feline, it disappeared into a cloud of swirling black smoke that rose up to the ceiling. Human arms sifted through the fog of darkness, and a woman dressed in black emerged from the artificial shadow. Her black nails were long and pointed, and she had raven hair that fell all the way to her backside. A black dress loosely adorned her figure, which was covered in piercings, wrist jewelry, and several bracelets of all shapes and sizes.

"You don't know how much fun I've had watching you during all of this," she spoke with a grin. "They said the three witches were easily defeated once the bond between them was broken, but I never expected it to be this easy."

"Warlock or demon?" Monica responded.

"I'm sorry?"

"Which one of them are you, so I know what creatures to slaughter after this is all over!"

The woman laughed. "I'm afraid I'm neither. I'm just a harmless shape-shifter blessed to be in the presence of, what they said to be, the 'strongest witches ever.' Unified by blood and power, they are supposedly insurmountable, except if you turn them against each other and watch the destruction unfold."

"Lady, you might want to leave if you value your head, or the rest of your body, or that cat you can turn into. Once we're done with you, you'll be nothing more than a hairball," Marie threatened.
